We're so glad you're here. Look What's Cookin' is one of Nebraska's largest independent kitchen store — a family-owned shop where good cooks, new cooks, and everyone in between can find the tools, ingredients, and inspiration to make every meal a little more memorable.
Look What's Cookin' was founded over 16 years ago by Mike Suchan, who built it from a single idea into the largest privately owned kitchen store in Nebraska. For years it was a place we shopped in ourselves — long before we ever imagined owning it.
On April 1, 2024, our family took the reins. We're Sean and Lindsey Denney, and stepping into Mike's shoes has been one of the great honors of our lives. We're joined by our store manager, Shalene Huyser (Lindsey's sister), and a team that genuinely cares about helping you find the right tools for your kitchen.
Around our house, you'll often hear the phrase, "There's always room for one more!" — and with seven kids, we mean it. That same spirit guides our store. There's always room for one more curious cook, one more first-time baker, one more person wandering in just to see what's new.
We carry top-of-the-line kitchen products from brands that craftspeople and chefs trust — many of them hard to find anywhere else in Central Nebraska:

We believe a well-equipped kitchen brings people together, and we want our store to do the same — for our customers, our staff, and our community.
Quality you can rely on. We carefully select products built to last. We'd rather sell you one great pan that lasts 20 years than five cheap ones that don't.
Real, hands-on help. Our team uses what we sell. We can talk knives, walk you through nonstick options, help you pick out a cast iron, or recommend a thoughtful gift. No pressure, just honest guidance.
Community first. We're committed to giving back. At least 25% of our net revenue goes to local food and shelter efforts, including Storehouse Ministries and Crossroads Mission Avenue. Internationally, we support Living Room Ministries International, a hospice in Eldoret, Kenya, headed by Lindsey's college friend Juli Boit. When you shop with us, you're part of that work too.
Bringing people into the kitchen. We're excited to be offering cooking classes again — a chance to learn favorite dishes and techniques from local experts. Our commercial kitchen is also available for special events. Get in touch if you'd like to host one.
